Despite the fact that today you can easily go on vacation (and even live) to almost anywhere in the world, the word "France" still causes many compatriots, and especially compatriots, an inexplicable thrill. Apparently, this craving was passed down from great-grandmothers, during whose time Paris was almost the center of the universe. After all, all the latest fashion trends came from there. French was studied everywhere. The richest secular families could afford to hire French governesses for their children and, of course, the French-style interior was almost the ultimate luxury.
In Soviet times, everyone suddenly became equal, and the Parisian splendor was forgotten for a long time. However, fashion tends to return, and today the very times have come when it has again become fashionable (and possible) to be rich and furnish your home the way your soul with finances wishes. And French style in the interior -one of the most beloved, because it combines elegance, romanticism, comfort, beauty and unobtrusive luxury. The color scheme of this design is based solely on warm, delicate, slightly blurry and muted pastel colors, but the most important colors are still white and gold. Their combination gives the dwelling an official festive look, and at the same time, it has a calming effect on the people in the room.
In order to maintain the French style in the interior, furniture should be purchased quite expensive.
Anyway, it should look like that. And only furniture made from natural materials looks really expensive. Basically, it should be made of wood and upholstered with noble expensive fabrics such as velvet, brocade, silk, etc. A wrought-iron bed with a soft mattress and lots of cozy pillows will look appropriate in the bedroom. You can emphasize the French style in the interior with the help of several original Parisian pieces of furniture, such as a deep, low bergere chair with lush upholstery, or a Dressoire cupboard. Very decorate the "French" apartment and give it an extra charm graceful knick-knacks and figurines. The main thing is not to overdo it with them.
As for the walls, the best option would be to paint them in light, pastel colors. If you are a follower of wallpaper, then you should choose their woven version with a discreet floral pattern. Also, the French style in the interior can be emphasized by walls pasteddirectly with a cloth (this is exactly what they did in the 17th century for lack of wallpaper). Floors are best made of natural stone, but since you do not have a medieval castle, but an ordinary house or apartment, it will be enough to get by with tiles or wood laminate. To make it even cozier, you can lay a small plain light wool rug on the floor.
To blend in more with the French lifestyle, you can hang mirrors decorated in heavy forged frames on the walls, place forged candlesticks and photographs in wooden frames here and there on horizontal surfaces. Light airy tulle will look good on the windows. And, of course, the room should always be bright, so take care of good illumination. An elegant chandelier will suffice, the design of which will be in harmony with the overall interior.
