It is best to install such elements near a reservoir already existing on the site: natural or artificial. Near the water mill, you can arrange a great place to relax: after a hard day, it will be very pleasant to watch how the jets of water, rolling over the blades of the mill, roll into the pond.
Do-it-yourself decorative windmill for the garden: work steps
To build such an original element to decorate your suburban area, you do not need to make a lot of effort and buy expensive materials. An ordinary mill has a very simple design, and you can build it from improvised means. At a minimum cost, you will get a great garden windmill that will serve as a great decoration for your territory.
Dig a hole at least 25 centimeters deep in the selected area. The bottom of the foundation should be laid out with broken bricks and poured with cement mortar. Then you need to make the frame of the future structure. To do this, you can use any cone-shaped objects: old buckets, basins, etc. The base of the mill can be made from old car tires. A small hole should be drilled in the upper part of the frame - here the wings of the structure will be installed in the future. The body must be carefully coated with concrete mortar and covered with decorative stones or the remains of paving slabs. After that, the wooden wings of the mill are installed in the prepared hole. They should be painted in advance and dried thoroughly.
This example can be taken as the basis for the manufacture of such structures. And their sizes, shapes and materials can be very different - it all depends on your tastes and wishes.
