In the spring, a huge number of flowers bloom in flower beds, many of which are simply stunning. The imperial hazel grouse is no exception, which is sometimes too tough for beginner growers.
And the point here is not even a rather complicated agricultural technique and care for these flowers… The fact is that even planting an imperial hazel grouse is an event that may require you to have certain skills in gardening.
Some information about growing conditions
Grouse grows well in sunny and slightly shaded areas, on moderately moist and fertile soil. This plant can be used not only to decorate the winter greenhouse, but also for spring forcing.
Imperial hazel grouse has fragrant bulbs with juicy, unprotected scales. As with other bulbous plants, the planting depth directly depends on the diameter of the "tubers" themselves. Usually, planting imperial hazel grouse requires planting flowers to a depth equal to the diameters of three bulbs.
Picking Details
Please note that inIn this case, not only the germination of seed material, but also the further decorative value of the plant depends on the correct choice of planting depth.
The fact is that the hazel grouse develops a rather large and massive peduncle, which, with a strong side wind and a shallow planting depth, can simply fall, tearing the root system out of the soil.
Some people think that bulbs should be placed at an angle when planting. They think that in this case the plants will be protected from rotting of the inclined scales. Gardeners with experience say that such a planting of imperial hazel grouse leads to exactly the opposite results.
Technology
A small amount of mineral fertilizers and a couple of spoons of calcined river sand should be put on the bottom of the landing hole. Usually these flowers are planted around the beginning of September. Note that by this time the bulbs should already have fairly long roots.
The later the imperial hazel grouse is planted, the longer the roots the plant manages to release. Please note that they should be saved by carefully spreading them with your hands when landing.
Between large bulbs, you need to leave a distance of at least 30 cm, while smaller specimens will be enough for 15 cm. the development of small and weak plants that are unlikely to amaze you with theirbeauty.
As for the subsequent wintering of plants, there is simply nothing complicated in this process. This plant perfectly tolerates even very cold winters, and even with a small amount of snow that has fallen, the bulbs do not freeze out.
Despite the sufficient resistance of hazel grouse to cold, plants are quite demanding on fertilizers. If you do not regularly fertilize with mineral fertilizers throughout the growing season, you are unlikely to get a full-fledged seed material that will be suitable for forcing.
It should be borne in mind that the imperial hazel grouse, the planting of which we considered, is a flower that needs careful care.
