- Drill-crown for wood. It is used for drilling large holes that a conventional drill cannot handle. Outwardly, it is a ring with teeth, in the middle of which there is a center drill. Several pieces are usually sold in a set with a diameter of 19 to 127 mm. The drilling depth of the crown is limited, as a rule, it is 22 mm. There are models with a drilling depth of up to 64 mm. This drill can also be used to make holes in plastic or drywall.
- Drill-cutter. It is used for holes with complex shapes, for example, to create roundings. The cutting part of the drill-mill is in the center, and therefore it is necessary to first drill, and then go to the side.
