Probably, we all were at that age when playing in the sandbox was our favorite pastime. Therefore, when we became adults, we ourselves had children, we strive to instill in them no less love for him.

Unfortunately, yard sandboxes are far from our children's ideal: dirty sand with an admixture of earth, clay and some old branches looks more like swamp slurry than a place to play. In addition, they are a public toilet for stray cats and dogs. Do we really want to let go of our beloved child to play what is commonly called a sandbox?

So why don't we as parents take care of the design of playgrounds? Are we really so busy with our work, TV and shopping that even for our own children we cannot create all the conditions for their development? Why do-it-yourself design of playgrounds causes complete bewilderment and even horror among modern parents?

It's not about grandiose expenses. You can create everything you need from improvised means. Imagine howyour child will be proud that their parent made the swing for them!

The design of playgrounds can begin with landscaping: plant the perimeter with undersized shrubs that will replace the fence. For a sandbox, you don’t need a lot of money either - except for a few boards, a hammer, and, well, hands to grow from that place. True, in order not to build a new toilet for homeless animals, you need to figure out how to cover it. I think a thick waterproof fabric is quite suitable: it can be nailed to the boards and you get a real cover.

There is no need to talk about how children love swings. But can a child in every yard give himself such pleasure? But for this, too, great skill is not required. A flat plank and a rope suspended from both sides. The design of playgrounds is also very important: naked and unfinished things are unlikely to instill in our children a love of creativity.

Excellent flowerbeds are made from unnecessary tires, and decorative “tiles” are made from stumps sawn across. I also want to do something fabulous, for example, an old boletus from an old Soviet cartoon. With a hat, you may have to work hard, but the torso will be replaced by a decorated old stump with roots.

Decorating playgrounds is such a creative process that our children will want to participate in it with pleasure. After all, they, too, can come up with a flower bed in the form of a crocodile or a giraffe from old tires and help decorate a multi-colored swing with a sandbox.

Kids especially love to play with smallobjects such as rocks. And what is next to the sandbox to make a "dry lake" filled with small pebbles?

A table with chairs can be built in the shape of a mushroom using old tree stumps. It is enough to work a little with your imagination, and the design of playgrounds will give us considerable pleasure from the process. Such joint actions will unite not only our children, but also parents, and then, perhaps, you will not want to stop there, because kindergarten playgrounds need resuscitation no less than courtyard ones. And who, if not us, will help our children?
