The sink is an essential item in any kitchen. Today there is a huge variety of models, but each option has its own advantages and characteristics. Most often, the owners of a spacious kitchen decide to install an overhead sink, since various options can be used to implement this idea. The main thing is to prepare all the necessary tools and materials in advance.

- Material. Manufacturers most often use stainless steel with chrome or nickel coating, as well as porcelain stoneware, glass, acrylic.
- Fixation method. Sinks are hinged, overhead and embedded. The first option is practically not used today, since the product willlook harmoniously only in public institutions and communal apartments.
- Shape. Modern technologies make it possible to produce oval, round, rectangular, square and corner models.
- Mixer location. The purchased faucet can be installed on the wall or sink.

If the master only determines how to properly install the purchased sink, then it should be noted that it is not at all necessary to buy specialized tools to fix the overhead model. To embed the product into a laminated worktop made of durable MDF or chipboard, you must prepare the basic fixtures in advance:
- A set of different size screwdrivers.
- A standard electric drill with a set of drills of different diameters.
- Acrylic or silicone sealant, quality sealant.
- Hacksaw or jigsaw for wood.
- Ruler, marker, meter tape measure.
It is worth noting that it is extremely difficult to quickly make the necessary cut in the countertop with a hacksaw. Preparatory work

Bracket base

Using a regular marker, all the necessary points are marked. Holes are best prepared with a drill with a drill, which is equipped with a winning tip. Mounting technique

If the fastener was moved along the oblique slot, then the upper half of the fastening angle smoothly goes down, as a result of which the edge of the sink is pressed against the side wall of the cabinet. The end of the cabinet can be additionally coated with sealant, silicone or other water-repellent material. Some modern sinks boast four narrow-slotted mounting holes in the folded inner compartment. In such a situation, the top end of the pedestal should contain four self-tapping screws with a shift relative to the mounting holes.
Key nuances
Experts always draw the attention of beginners to the fact that without a special key, all operations with a clamping steel nut on the tee of the installed faucet under the sink will be simply unrealistic.
