Dyeing is the most popular way of decorating. This type of finish is one of the simplest, yet it offers unlimited possibilities for personal style and creativity.

Water-based paint is best suited for painting, which can be used both inside and outside the building. This material is easy to use, not aggressive, with the help of a pigment you can easily change its color, getting a variety of shades.

Water-based paint is a stable emulsion (suspension, slurry), where the binder base and pigments are suspended (dispersed) in an aqueous medium. It turns out that water dilutes rather than dissolves small particles of polymers that are in suspension. After dyeing, water evaporates, and a solid film is created with the help of polymers. After that, the surface is no longer afraidmoisture.

In addition, water-based paint has a number of other advantages. It does not have a strong smell, does not emit harmful fumes, and the painted surface can be easily washed.

There are acrylic, silicone and silicate water emulsions. In acrylic, special resins are the main base element. Such materials have high strength and elasticity, but their price is quite high.

Acrylic latex paints are the same water-dispersion paints, only latex is added to them, which makes it possible to achieve a significant water-repellent effect. An important property of latex paints is their vapor permeability, which does not interfere with water-repellent properties. The polymer film obtained as a result of applying paint is able to withstand more than five thousand brushing cycles. In other words, the surface can be cleaned, washed almost unlimited number of times.

The basic basis of silicone water-based paint is an aqueous dispersion of silicone resin. These paints are the most modern and combine all the best qualities. The surface covered with them is practically not wetted, at the same time they pass gas and steam. These properties make it possible to use silicone paints on newly plastered surfaces, they will not interfere with the hardening of the plaster. At the same time, the consumption of water-based paint when applied to the surface is sufficientlow.

Silicone paints are not aggressive and have high plasticity. They allow you to mask cracks up to two millimeters wide, and insects cannot breed on the treated surface.

Silicone water-based paint is used on almost all types of mineral surfaces. It is compatible with both latex and acrylic or mineral paints. They are convenient to use for any kind of work. Having made, for example, the water supply of a private house with your own hands, all structural elements can be covered with these paints.
