Today, few people use such "wild" methods, because the industry offers a huge amount of building materials, much more suitable for such purposes. These are reinforcing meshes, which at one time made almost a revolution in the construction industry.
They are made of special wire or even rebar. In the case of rods, they are connected by spot welding directly at the facility under construction. This is done in the case when industrial reinforcing meshes do not meet the reliability requirements.
How and where they are used
Most often they are used to strengthen the foundations of buildings and walls. In general, to improve the technical characteristics of the structure, it is possible to do without the use of various reinforcing agents.you won't succeed anyway. Not only masonry, but also the road and even the runway of the airfield will become stronger if the builders used reinforcing mesh during its installation.
Moreover, they are simply indispensable when performing the so-called "heavy" masonry, when the wall is built not from brick, but from marble, granite or similar materials. In addition, without meshes, it will not be possible to make a house cladding using natural or artificial facing stone. However, they are also used for not so epic needs: the same gardeners and gardeners have long adapted to use reinforcing meshes for frames for greenhouses and greenhouses.
For the production of meshes, reinforcing wire of categories AIII and AI is used, the diameter of which is 6-12 mm. Often they are used when the construction of particularly complex and critical reinforced concrete facilities is underway. Do not think that the reinforcing base is laid "anyhow."

However, it is worth mentioning right away that ready-made frames are much cheaper, and construction using them is more expedient from an economic point of view. Therefore, for most of the buildings, standard models have long been developed.projects that can significantly reduce costs. As a rule, all their sizes are regulated by GOST. Reinforcing meshes in the west for this purpose do produce robotic production lines that weld frames in automatic mode.
If you are going to build something serious, we strongly advise you to turn to professionals. If you have not yet de alt with the choice of such products, it will be extremely easy to make a mistake. Unfortunately, the psychology of our sellers remains unchanged: it is often possible to find reinforcing meshes, the spot welding of which is carried out in a chaotic manner, or even “through one”. You should not assume that you can shove anything into concrete: at best, a defective mesh can reduce the strength of the structure by 15-20%.
