But in order to create a simple, but very beautiful unusual vase, no special skills are needed. For work, you will need only a burnt out light bulb, pliers and sandpaper. In order not to injure your hands, wrap the light bulb in a cloth. Bend the edge of the metal plate with pliers, pull it out, detaching it. This will require some effort. Under the plate you will see a black cover, which will also need to be removed. The cover will allow access to the electrical part. Take it out too. Only a metal thread will remain on the glass body of the lid. The edge needs to be sanded.
The only thing left to do is to build a stand. It can be made from wood or a small piece of self-hardening clay. Also, these vases look very nice if they are hung on a macramé-type braided cord.
You can make stylish interior vases in other ways. If you need a decorative element that you do not plan to pour intowater and put fresh flowers, you can use decorative self-hardening clay. It is no more difficult to sculpt from it than from ordinary plasticine, and the products are very spectacular, similar to real clay ones. But at the same time, ornamental clay does not require baking and knowledge of complex technological features. Roll out the layer, roll it into the desired shape, decorate as you wish. And then just let it cool down. If you want real flowers, not artificial ones, in such a vase, make an insert from a wet-resistant container (even a regular jar will do).
