Working principle
The algorithm of this tool is based on the principle of compressed air (rarely - gas). The stages of operation of the mechanisms are as follows: first, through a special air duct, air enters the system, filling the flat chamber of the device. In this case, a lot of pressure arises inside the mechanism, which expands the rubber pads of the jack. They then rest against the bottom of the car or some other surface, thereby lifting the vehicle up. How then is the car lowered? There is nothing complicated here either. By pressing the necessary lever in the system, a special valve is activated, which relieves pressure from the system. This lowers the car back onto its wheels.

A pneumatic jack can have a wide variety of characteristics depending on the classification and type. Based on this, the level of working pressure that is formed in the system can be from 2 to 9 atmospheres, and the lift height can be from 37.5 to 56 centimeters. However, what remains unchanged in them is the same pickup height (15 centimeters) and low load capacity. Depending on the model, pneumatic jacks for cars are capable of lifting devices weighing from 1 to 4 tons. But what about the manufacturer's recommendations that a 4-ton mechanism can be safely used to lift huge truck tractors? After all, do not forget that no one has canceled the laws of physics, and the mass that was erected on 4 wheels of the car after lifting the cardevice falls on the "shoulders" of 3 tires and the same lifting mechanism.
