Sooner or later, there may come a time when a homeowner has a certain problem with replacing a heating radiator. Of course, you can always replace the battery yourself, but in this case you should know how exactly the heating radiators are connected. In the event that you have vague knowledge in this area, and not without reason believe that you can cope with this work on your own, you should follow some rules.
First of all, you need to decide - you need to connect aluminum
heating radiators or any other. The complexity of this work directly depends on this. Moreover, the old cast-iron radiators have replaced the more attractive ones - not only aluminum, but also biometallic ones. It should be noted that it is not recommended to install the first ones in city apartments, because they do not withstand high pressure and all kinds of cleaning mixtures that are often used in apartments. In any case, the purchase and connection of heating radiators involves drawing up a detailed diagram of the heating system. Only in this case, qualified sellers will be able to help you choose the best components for your home.
Among other things, it is necessary to purchase shut-off valves that are mounted at the outlets and inlets of each radiator. They are comfortable enough if
subsequently, this device must be repaired or replaced, and for subsequent adjustment of the temperature in the room. So, after all the components have been purchased and the old batteries have been dismantled, the lower connection of the radiators begins. First of all, you need to fix
brackets - approximate calculation: per 1 sq. meter one bracket. In addition, the connection of heating radiators also implies compliance with the recommended distances: a gap of 3-5 cm from the wall, at least 10 cm to the window sill.
Radiators with the required number of sections are hung directly on the fixed brackets. After that, you can proceed to the installation of pipes. In this case, you should heed the advice of professionals and use a torque wrench for work, otherwise you can simply strip the thread. There are only four options for mounting pipes: cross, one-sided, one-pipe and bottom. The best thingselect the connection that was previously used. But the most effective is considered to be the connection of heating radiators one-way.
The outlet and inlet of the radiator are equipped with shut-off and adjustable valves. Also, in order to prevent the "paralysis" of the main system in apartment buildings, a bypass is also installed - a workaround for the correct coolant current. This is important for single-pipe heating systems. After that, direct installation of pipes with a radiator is carried out using fittings and spurs, if polypropylene pipes were selected. In any case, sealants or special winding should be used. This mechanism represents the installation of batteries as a whole, each individual type of radiators should be considered in a separate order.
