New gasification rules - what to consider?
In two years (2017-2018), several changes were made to the Russian legislation regulating the gas connection procedure. In general, they focused on simplifying access to gas supply networks, including by reducing the time for consideration of applications. Citizens also got the opportunity to apply for connection to backbone networks via the Internet.
The connection time has been halved. In addition, the new rules for connecting gas to the house reduce the time for issuing project documentation from 20 to 15 days (working). Approval of payment for an individual technical connection project takes 22 working days. The maximum connection period inin cases where only the actual introduction into the gas supply network is envisaged - from 12 to 3 months.

What documents are required?
The whole procedure begins with the collection of documentation that will allow you to prepare an initial certificate of technical conditions (TS) for connection. At this stage, you can apply to the so-called "Single Window" or multifunctional center. At the stage of applying for technical specifications, the following documents will be required to connect gas to a private house:
- Situational plan of the site to which it is planned to carry out gas supply.
- Copies of the passport and documents for the site and the house (in case the construction work is completed).
- Power of attorney or other documentation, if the application is submitted by a representative of the owner of the connection object.
- If the planned gas consumption exceeds 5 m3/hour, then an approximate calculation of the volume of fuel consumption will be required.
- Consent of the owner of the gas pipeline network with which the object is planned to be connected.
Also, in some cases, the list of documents for connecting a house to gas provides for a survey of the site if the first gasification is performed. Graphics Documentmust be made no earlier than 2 years prior to the submission of the request.
Then follows the conclusion of an agreement on the connection of the target object with the gas pipeline. It can be drawn up not only with the direct organization - the owner of the supply line. For example, it may be a third-party service company involved in the maintenance of the gas distribution network. After that, a contract is concluded for the development of the project and the execution of installation work. This document also does not have to be concluded with the direct owner of the highway.
