The filter sleeve belongs to the category of universal type equipment used to purify air, the temperature of which does not exceed 260 degrees. It is an effective dust collector and is usually made to order, taking into account the features of operation and the size of replaceable elements. The design can be elliptical or round and equipped with a ring made of rubber, spring and wire.
Filter sleeve: scope of application
There are many technological processes that require the use of such elements:
- oil refining and steel production;
- sawing and other types of wood processing;
- cement silo ventilation;
- cement manufacturing;
- grinding and metal processing;
- tobacco production;
- manufacture of carbon black and plastics.
Materials
Polyester, fabric, polypropylene,fiberglass. There are products supplemented with electrically conductive fibers, anti-static coating, as well as those designed for high temperatures and having water-repellent characteristics. The outer layer can be covered in mesh or nylon fleece. Sleeves having a calendered surface have gained sufficient distribution. Thanks to their use, the loss of the smallest fibers in the filtrate is prevented. The fabric calendering process consists in rolling through rollers heated to a certain temperature and then sintering the fibers.
Features of operation
The filter element is subject to constant wear and high loads, which necessitates regular replacement. In addition to removing old elements, timely cleaning of bag filters, nozzles and a hopper from accumulated contaminants and a subsequent check of the system are required. The required level of efficiency of suction structures is achieved only if new sleeves are systematically installed.
There are several basic types that differ in the specifics of operation. Sufficient distribution has acquired a filter sleeve, which is used in a high-temperature environment and to trap explosive dust. The basis of the design is the body, which has two chambers, valve sections and filter frame elements. Air enters the chamber through a pipe and passes through a filter, on the surface of which dust remains. After cleaning, the air is discharged into a special chamber through opensleeve elements.
Production
The production process is carried out on the latest equipment using high-quality fabrics, including those made from materials that have conductive properties. The filter sleeve, designed to trap dust with increased explosive hazard, is complemented by valves with a special membrane. In this case, a separate installation of launch equipment in a designated room is required. The removal of the collected dust can be carried out with different regularity depending on the operating conditions. With the help of sluice gates, the unloading section is sealed if it is necessary to collect dust on the installed filter. Other types of sealing devices are also used.
Certain types of filters are complemented by automatic systems that allow you to control mechanisms for unloading dust from several filters at the same time and prevent damage to the structure as a result of exposure to high-temperature gases. Similar systems are used to transmit data for follow-up monitoring and control of the cleaning mechanism.
