Application of various roofing materials
Metal tiles, ondulin, cellular polycarbonate and sandwich panels are used as roofing material. Each of these materials has its own merits. Cellular polycarbonate - the material is very light and transmits light well, and sandwich panels are characterized by good thermal insulation properties.
Great attention should be paid to the junction of the roof to the wall of the building, as leaks should not be allowed. If the installation of the truss system is carried out using metal tiles, then a strobe is made in the wall and a drainage system is attached to it. For tightness, all joints are coated with special mastic. If a truss system is being installed, where cellular polycarbonate is used as a roofing material, then a polycarbonate sheet is taken either 8 mm thick if insulation is to be carried out, or 24 mm thick if it iswill be produced. Cellular polycarbonate is designed specifically for outdoor installation, so its outer surface has a layer that protects it from ultraviolet radiation.
Pitched roof
The device of a pitched roof is as follows: a wooden frame with a crate made on it is mounted, a roof of any selected roofing material is laid on it.
