Increasingly, when building country houses, builders are beginning to use collector heating schemes. This is due to the fact that any heating system of a modern house is quite complex and branched. The length of the same pipes for transferring the coolant may well reach more than one hundred meters. Of course, in such conditions, efficient heating becomes especially relevant.
Varieties and functions
In ordinary living rooms, a temperature comfortable for life is maintained, and therefore the task of the heating collector is to regulate the amount of coolant in the system and ensure its normal circulation in it. They are made of high quality steel, brass and plastic.
Provided that the system is correctly installed, additional devices can be easily connected to it, which automatically makes it much more functional (compared to traditional devices). Shouldnote that when buying a collector for heating, you need to know at least the general functions that are characteristic of all models:
- uniform distribution of the coolant in the system;
- control of its amount and operating temperature;
- regulating the pressure in the system and preventing its failure;
- maintaining the set temperature in all heated rooms;
- in addition, the task of the heating manifold is to maintain the coordinated work of all elements of the heating circuit.
As a rule, all modern manufacturers provide all the necessary related equipment with them, so you only have to worry about installing it correctly.
Heat water floor systems
The peculiarity of such a system is that it must be equipped with additional stopcocks. Considering that each collector for heating has its own outlet, this scheme provides many advantages. In particular, if a leak is detected, the damaged circuit can be easily disconnected from the rest of the system. All others will work as usual.
It is the regulators that are responsible for the uniform distribution of water along the circuit, ensuring uniform heating of the floor over its entire area. However, almost any heating system collector can be used for these functions, which makes them multifunctional devices. But when buying such equipment for underfloor heating systems, you need to take into account the massother factors:
- what the case is made of;
- what connection is used;
- maximum system pressure that the manifold can withstand;
- maximum operating temperature.
Radiator heating
All collectors for this kind of heating systems are attractive and compact. In addition, the easy connection of the heating manifold facilitates not only the overall installation of the system, but also the repair of damaged areas. When connecting radiators, it is preferable to use the bottom connection scheme.
This is the most common and easiest option. In the case of using a collector circuit, it is easy to link even heating devices with different operating pressures. In addition, all pipes in this case are easily hidden in the decorative elements of the floor.
