Today, this element of decor is very common. The design of the classic screen is quite simple. It consists of a frame, which is two rails or a frame, which are usually made of aluminum, dense plastic or steel. One or more panels of waterproof PVC or other materials are attached to the frame. Depending on the design, the panels are solid or consisting of several elements. Usually this is a moving element. They slide along the guides, that is, they open according to the principle of a wardrobe or swing open like the doors of an ordinary wardrobe. In any case, such panels will provide you with access to the space under the bathroom. This is their indisputable advantage.
The most popular bath screens are 150 or 170 cm long. They are designed for decoration. There are also non-standard screen options - they are not so in demand. For example,designs for semicircular and angular models. Convenient are the screens under the bath-compartment. Behind their doors are shelves where you can place a lot of necessary little things.
Many people prefer, as an alternative to the screen, to build a brick structure and tile or mosaic over it. But this method has a drawback - in case of any malfunction of communications, this capital structure will have to be broken. That is why easily dismantled bath screens are a more convenient and justified option.
You can often hear the question of how to install a screen under the bath. You only need to take three steps:
- insert the screen under the top edge of the tub;
- its lower part, on which the legs are fixed, set so that it stands perpendicular to the floor;
