Curb stone is widely used in road construction, arrangement and beautification of sidewalks, lawns, various sites, parking lots, etc. Characterized by its durability and strength, having a relatively low cost, it is able to fit into almost any design.

Regardless of purpose, curbstones are made from fine-grained concrete. To improve the characteristics (frost resistance, moisture resistance, strength, etc.), this is done by dry vibrocompression.
How curbstones are designated
Do they have GOST? Curb stone as such is not defined by any standards. However, actually being a side stone, it may well be attributed to GOST 6665-91.
Curb stones are marked quite simply. The letters indicate their type (BR - straight ordinary, BL - straight lines with a tray, BV - entry, BU - straight lines with widening, BK - curvilinear, BUP - straight lines with intermittent widening). Further, in centimeters, the dimensions defining the curb stone (length-height-width) are indicated. For example, BR-100.20.8 means that we are dealing with a straight ordinary product 100 long, 20 high and 8 centimeters wide.
Sizes and prices
The cost of a curb stone depends on the production technology and onfinal product shape. So, a road curb of the same length will cost less than a main one, but more than a garden one. The same goes for sizes.
Most commonly used meter stones (although there are also borders 40, 50, 60, 80 cm long) 8 to 20 cm wide and 20 to 60 cm high.
