Ampel geranium has more than seventy varieties, and all of them have special care requirements. First of all, you should choose a well-lit place for them. Try to water this plant either in the pan or under the root - this way you will avoid getting moisture on the leaves. When choosing a pot, take not too big. To increase the flowering period, there should be 2-3 centimeters between the root and the wall of the vessel. Ampelous geranium is unpretentious to soils. For top dressing, you can use any complex fertilizer with a high content of potassium. The ampelous geranium is propagated by seeds and cuttings. The use of seeds is a laborious and complex process; vegetative propagation is much easier. Sections of the cuttings are dried in the open air for a day, then dipped incoal powder. A soil mixture is prepared: they take peat, sand and leafy soil in equal parts, disinfect it: pour boiling water over it and put it in the oven for 20-25 minutes. plants planted in spring produce first flowers by summer.
