The entrance is a room in an apartment building that is used by a person to move from the street to the apartment. The entrance is considered common property and the decision on the necessary changes in it is made collectively.
Russian entrances are completely different in their architecture. For example, in the old houses of the Stalin era, there are wide flights of stairs with vintage decoration, and in the "Khrushchev" one can find a cramped entrance with high steps.
Device
The entrance of the house must meet all the functional requirements of the residents. It should be comfortable and practical.
It starts from the front door. In the modern version, this is a door with a self-closing device and an intercom (sometimes with video communication). After the front door, the vestibule and the second door (often an ordinary wooden one) begin. This helps keep the room warm.
On the first floor are often technical and utility rooms, the entrance to the basement. There are mailboxes in the area of floors 1-2.
The floor is called the landing, and the stairs between the floors are called the flight of stairs. It is framed by railings (usually wooden). Every floorshould be well lit and have its own serviceable electrical panel.
Windows are available on every floor and should open and close well.
On the last floor there is access to the attic and technical rooms. Buildings above 5 floors have an elevator and a garbage chute.
For added convenience, residents are asking for ramps and notice boards.
Order
The entrance is a public place. It must be kept clean by all its inhabitants. Elementary rules for maintaining order:
- install trash bins;
- put the rug in the vestibule of the entrance;
- do not smoke or drink alcohol;
- keep it free from pests;
- observe dry and wet cleaning.
Most often, the entrance is registered with a management company that regularly cleans the premises and takes out the garbage.
The neatness of the entrance depends on the tenants themselves. Well-mannered people who love cleanliness make them really cozy:
- put pots and planters with plants;
- decorate walls with paintings;
- draw pictures on walls and doors;
- put benches and chairs;
- hang curtains.
Such premises take part in competitions for the best entrance of the city.
Repair
Major or partial repairs are the responsibility of the management company. This includes not only the transformation of the interior. UC is also responsible for repairing the elevator, front door and porch.
According torules and regulations for the technical operation of the housing stock, repair of the entrance should be carried out every 3-5 years. Light fixtures, mailboxes or railings are replaced at the request of residents.
If the management company does not plan repairs in the near future, the tenants draw up a collective application and submit it to the director of this company.
Besides the fact that the entrance must be well maintained, it must be safe. To do this, residents are prohibited from cluttering up staircases with furniture, trash and building materials.
