In one, the clutch is a cushioning soft material that simply collapses when it collides with an obstacle and thereby saves the knife. In another, the clutch operates in automaticmode. It is able to simply disengage the cutting mechanism when an obstacle is encountered, and its setting can be adjusted by the operator driving the mower.
Moving and fixed blades are provided with spindle models of lawn mowers. The drum on which they are installed rotates itself. In this case, the movable knife captures the grass and feeds it to the blade of the fixed one. They work the lawn well, but their productivity is very low.
