The choice of configuration and materials for a country pavilion is usually influenced by aesthetic temptation. And it sets the roof for the gazebo, because in fact we notice it from afar. And it is by it that we evaluate the architectural style of the entire structure.
With all the variety of species, garden arbors should not look like a capital building. A gazebo is an “airy” structure for relaxing or sheltering from rain and the annoying sun. Its design is selected based on the weather conditions of the area. A horizontal or sloping roof will trap snow, and a canopy made with a large slope will deform in strong winds (due to itswindage).

Roof material
There are two different types of materials for roofing equipment - hard and soft.

If the roof structure is combined, polycarbonate is what you need. Polycarbonate is a modern and durable material. It has a lot of advantages:

- delays ultraviolet light.

Roof Shapes
- Domed roof. It is tempting because snow does not linger on such a roof.
- Shed roof - structurally rests on the outer walls of the gazebo, which are located at different levels. In other words, it is a straight sloped roof.
- A flat roof is not as pretty as a pitched roof because of the slight slope. However, it is perfectly used for landscaping purposes. Today it is very popular.
- A gable roof is flat-shaped triangles converging at the top point of the center of the gazebo.
- The four-pitched roof for the gazebo (hip) consists of four slopes: two have the shape of a triangle (hip), and two more have the shape of a trapezoid.
- The hipped roof is perfect for square arbors or arbors in the form of a polygon with equal sides. The bevels of hipped roofs are isosceles triangles that converge at the top of the center of the roof.
- The eastern roof is the same hip structure, only the corners are raised.
