Apparently, the days when the poor electrician had to make a huge number of twists during the installation of electrical wiring have already passed. This is one of the ways to connect electrical wires to each other. According to all the installation rules, such a connection should still be soldered and insulated. The work is long and painstaking, and the result was not the best. If there were a lot of such connections in one place, and even a large-section wire was used, it cost a lot of work to squeeze all the twists into the junction box. Over time, under the influence of electric current, the contact between the wires disappears.
