Care

The most important thing for this bush is abundant and timely watering, as well as a landing site. Many varieties of hydrangeas love dark places, they practically stop growing in sunny places, the flowers become small. This bush does not tolerate compacted earth, so it is necessary to loosen the soil around it - at least three times per season. Butgrowing hydrangeas is not complete without the use of dressings. Slurry as top dressing is combined with watering. And the timely application of fertilizers will contribute to the overall development of the bush. In the spring, when the buds are at rest, frozen and weak branches are pruned. One-year-old shoots are cut into three or four buds. Such pruning will increase the frost resistance of the bush and its splendor during flowering. Old roots are removed at the very base.
