Seligerskaya is one of the six stations of the northern section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, which is being built by the Mosmetrostroy organization. This terminal station in the north of the capital is intended to ensure the interception of vehicles moving from outside Moscow, significantly affect the congestion of the Korovinskoye and Dmitrovskoye highways and, of course, improve the environmental situation in Western Degunino and Beskudnikovo.
In order for the station to fully cope with the tasks set, it is planned to build a sufficiently powerful transport interchange hub with the obligatory presence of spacious parking lots for cars, settling and turning areas for public transport.
A bit of history
Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya - tenth lineMoscow metro. This is a relatively new line, the beginning of its construction fell on the hardest years for the Moscow Metro. It is known that its design began in October 1983, and the construction of the first section was planned in the late 80s. However, it was only possible to open it in 1995. Six stations of the new line (from Chkalovskaya to Volzhskaya) and the depot were commissioned with large errors. The following year, three more stations were opened in the opposite direction to Maryino.
Today this metro line has 17 stations and is 29 kilometers long. The opening of the last finished section took place in December 2011 with the final stop "Zyablikovo" in the south direction. The terminal station in the northern direction is called "Maryina Roshcha", it was opened in 2010. "Seligerskaya" - the metro station, which will temporarily be the last in the north of the line.

Construction of Seligerskaya metro station
The length of the construction site to Seligerskaya is 10.6 kilometers. Construction began in the summer of 2011. Work was and is being carried out simultaneously at several sites.
Mechanized tunneling complexes build distillation tunnels and ventilation shafts. Work is also in full swing at the construction of stations.
Seligerskaya metro station will be located at the crossroads of Dmitrovsky and Korovinsky highways. She will have about 12exits. It will have good access from both highways.
"Seligerskaya" is a shallow metro station, which is why it is possible not only to reduce the cost of its construction, but also to build it in a shorter time.
In 2014, it is planned to build at least 14 kilometers of metro in Moscow. In January of this year, the number of construction sites of the Moscow metro was estimated at 150.
So, Moscow is actively expanding its subway. The Seligerskaya metro station will become operational at the end of this year.
