A lot of new finishing materials have recently appeared on the modern market. They include corrugated board. They call it galvanized iron, stamped in the form of a trapezoidal profile. From above, such sheets are coated with a special polymer composition that prevents corrosion.
Previously, this material was used only for the construction of utility rooms - change houses, warehouses, etc. However, recently, thanks to improved technologies for manufacturing and painting sheets in bright, rich colors, corrugated board has been increasingly used for finishing residential premises.
Its main difference from siding is unconditional environmental friendliness and very high strength. Both wall corrugated board and roofing are produced. The difference between the first one is that the height of the profile wave cannot be more than 2 cm. After installation, such sheets are subject to smaller loads, both mechanical and adverse environmental factors. Therefore, wall panels are somewhat less durable than roof panels.
The wall corrugated board is marked as followsway:
- С10 is a universal sheet that is used both for walls and for roofs with a large slope of slopes.
- С8 - a sheet with a low profile height used for fences, walls and ceilings.
- C21 - universal profiled sheet.
- MP18 - a sheet with a sinusoidal profile (18 mm high).
Wall corrugated board is used both for finishing walls and for installing fences, arranging temporary and utility rooms, as partitions, etc. The popularity of this material is due to many qualities. As already noted, it is absolutely harmless to he alth. In addition, this material is distinguished by high strength, durability and, importantly, ease of transportation and installation.
Installation of wall corrugated board, when used as a finished wall cladding, begins with the installation of leveling horizontal brackets perpendicular to the wall. After all of them are fixed, sheets of insulation are installed. They are fixed on the wall with polyamide dowels. A windproof film is attached over the insulation. Then, vertical guides are attached to the brackets, leaving a small gap for ventilation, with rivets. Thus, a frame is obtained, on which, in the future, wall corrugated board will be attached. Sheets are installed using self-tapping screws. The step depends on the type of corrugated board used. It is necessary to make fasteners so that the sheets are firmly held on the guides.
When installing temporary premises, change houses and other structures that do not require insulation, fastening is carried out to the crossbars of a pre-installed frame, also through one wave, and vertically with rivets.
Wide scope, reasonable price and excellent performance characteristics that distinguish wall corrugated board made it the most purchased finishing material for walls and roofs. Galvanized and protected with a polymer composition, the surface of the sheets can significantly extend the service life. It is at least 20 years old. This is another great quality that explains such a high popularity of this finishing material.
