A large selection of different types of foundations, made according to different methods, allow you to choose the most suitable option not only in relation to the ground, but also based on the design of the house.
For summer cottage construction, a strip or column foundation is more often used. But no less interesting is the option of using piles, especially if the site has a slope. When building in a city where there is a very dense building, the foundation of a bored foundation is the most optimal solution. The technology of its manufacture allows you to build a house without causing trouble to nearby buildings. The main idea of this method is that the pile does not go deep into the ground, but "grows" out of the ground (due to filling).
The foundation of the bored can be done in several ways. Having dug or drilled a well, a pipe is installed in it (or a removable formwork is made). As the hole fills, all unnecessary elements can be removed, but sometimes they are left to give additional strength to the structure. For better compaction of concrete, a special drill is used, which creates vibration (and the composition lies more tightly).
Beginfill the foundation of the bored with the design of the pillow. It can be made from crushed stone, sand or concrete mix, having previously tamped them. Then comes the filling of the well with the main material. It can be just a few layers of concrete or concrete combined with stone. Cobblestone, sandstone or limestone is suitable here, as long as it is even and durable. Otherwise, it is called rubble stone. To increase the strength of a bored pile, you can use reinforcement, which then will have to be connected into a single structure using a grillage.
The width of the foundation, made on the basis of bored piles, depends, first of all, on the thickness of the wall of the house. Frame buildings do not require large dimensions, as the walls are light and not too thick. The width of the foundation in this option can correspond to the dimensions of the wall. For a house made of timber, the foundation should be 20-40 mm larger in order to distribute the load more evenly. Therefore, it is the material from which the house is built that determines the width of any foundation, except for the slab. There, the stove is poured according to the size of the house.
It is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the material used when building a house. Cement for the foundation should be selected based on strength characteristics. These indicators are influenced by various impurities that improve the quality of the resulting material. But if this is relevant for building a house, then you can take lower quality cement for a garage (and, moreover, a barn).
It is better to fill the foundation of the boredfast-hardening cement, but dilute it in small portions. Prepare each next filling after the previous layer has been rammed. When buying cement, keep in mind that it is not always possible to accurately maintain the proportions of all incoming components. At the same time, the sand must also be of suitable consistency and high quality.
By putting all these components together, you can get a solid foundation, and, therefore, the confidence that the house will stand for a long time.
