The design of the new iJust 2 e-cigarette from Eleaf is simple, yet effective and designed for a wide range of vapers. A large liquid tank, decent autonomy, high power, an air supply control system is installed. There are two types of replaceable evaporators in the kit. The set corresponds to modern ideas about a quality device and is distinguished by a reasonable price.
Constructive
The iJust 2 e-cigarette's familiar cylindrical shape is mostly made of stainless steel. The assembled set of the device has a height of 168 mm, and it is only 22 mm in diameter. Eleaf iJust 2 boasts an undoubtedly powerful filling, but at the same time it does not look bulky compared to models of the same class: a special compact microcircuit used by the manufacturer in this product made it possible to radically reduce the length.
Battery
The iJust 2 battery pack has a built-in 2600 mAh battery. It's always enough fordaily active use, without the need for recharging during the day. The battery pack connector is standard, it is suitable for operation with a resistance of 0.15 Ohm. In its upper area there is a button for closing the circuit, which is highlighted with an LED indicator. The second is installed in the area of the micro-connector for recharging. It takes three hours to fully charge. It should be noted that the battery pack device has acquired all the necessary protective functionality:
- stopping the recharge process after the battery is fully charged;
- short circuit protection;
- an additional function - passru, thanks to which it becomes possible to combine vaping with charging at the same time.
Clearomizer Features
In the standard iJust 2 kit there is a clearomizer with a built-in tank, which is designed for a maximum amount of liquid up to 5.5 ml - this is a very high indicator of capacity. A good suggestion for vapers who can't or don't like to waste time refilling their tank. The transparent body of the tank is made of tempered glass, which makes it easy to control the filling level and significantly increases the durability of the clearomizer. There are radiator fins on the base, which allows you to deal with overheating. At the bottom of the clearomizer there is an adjustment of the airflow strength, for this the case has four holes for supply. iJust 2 coil air flow rate is changed by rotationan additional silicone ring with oblong holes. Such a system looks, maybe too simple, unreliable, but it functions without problems.
How to refill liquid?
The native clearomizer in iJust 2 is equipped with a bottom liquid filling system. To refill, you need to turn the cigarette upside down with the drip tip, then unscrew the top of the clearomizer with the tank from its base. Gradually pour the liquid into the tank, controlling the process so as to prevent the mixture from entering the opening of the central air duct. Now you need to reassemble the structure without changing its original inverted position.
Replacement coils
The manufacturer provides for the availability of two different replaceable evaporators in the package with the iJust 2 electronic cigarette. The first one has a resistance of 0.3 ohm, can withstand power in the range from 30 to 80 W, it has two vertical spirals, and an absorbent element made of organic cotton; the second, with a resistance of 0.5 Ohm, is designed for soaring at a power of 30 to 100 W. In fact, everything is very simple. A vaporizer with less resistance is the choice of vapers who want to reduce fluid consumption and do not mind sacrificing flavor intensity and vapor density. Steaming with more resistance will give lovers a bright aroma and rich steam. The Eleaf iJust 2 device does not have a voltage regulator, which makes it possible to vape in a wide range of powers. And therefore, with a decrease in the charge level in the battery, the power supplied to the evaporator will decrease.
It is possible to separately purchase a replacement coil for 0, 15 Ohm or Melo, also a serviced base Eleaf ECR Head or RBA Atlantis and Atlantis 2. Rewinding the iJust 2 coil is also possible for maintenance-free models that come with the kit, but do it a little harder.
Tools
Rewinding the iJust 2 vaporizer will require this set of tools for all kinds of vaporizers:
- ceramic or metal tweezers for carefully disassembling the evaporator and fluffing cotton wool;
- wire of the required diameter from a certain metal, depends on preliminary calculations and your preferences;
- professional tools for winding spirals or improvised means of the desired diameter;
- special wire cutters;
- organic cotton sheet and scissors.
Native non-service
The question may arise as to why you need to rewind your native evaporator to iJust 2, this is non-service. Experienced vapers usually do this for several reasons:
- to save money on the purchase of new non-service, because evaporators have to be changed to new ones after 3-5 weeks of use, and only cotton wool and a spiral deteriorate in them;
- I really want to get confused, because the process of creating something complex with your own hands and the result of the work itself bring pleasure.
The desire to rewind the iJust 2 coil on a maintenance-free replacement model usually arisesfrom experienced vapers, because they know how to achieve maximum vaping pleasure with the right winding. Despite the fact that the evaporator is theoretically replaceable, the diameter of its body and the size of the central contact make it easy to replace coil and cotton even for an inexperienced vaper.
The diameter of the spiral in the evaporator is 4 millimeters, which means that it can be wound on a knitting needle or a watch screwdriver. The finished winding is wrapped with a piece of cotton wool, and the upper wire of the spiral is bent down, holding the cotton wool. Having installed it in the evaporator body, it is necessary to make sure that the upper end of the wire (which is the outer contact) is outside the insulator and touches the evaporator body; and the bottom one (which is the inner contact) touched the central contact and was limited to the inside of the insulator.
Initially, when disassembling the native evaporator, you must leave the upper mesh in place or reinstall it if it fell out.
Conclusion: native coils from iJust 2 are the easiest to rewind, only special RBA bases are lighter.
iJust 2 Vaporizer Horizontal Rewind
Some vapers, after practicing rewinding disposable native vaporizers, find that it is easier and more efficient to do it horizontally. To rewind the iJust 2 evaporator, wind the coil for a maximum of 6 turns, otherwise it will not fit.
RewindiJust 2 Serviceable Evaporator - ECR
The serviceable ECR evaporator has both horizontal and vertical coil orientations. This model provides a fully collapsible design, which consists of a top cover, body, insulator and brass pin. This means that it is easily possible to independently update organic cotton wool, and if necessary, replace the installed spiral with a new one. For maximum simplicity of the winding process, a screwless design is provided. Upon purchase, a horizontal 1.0 ohm kanthal coil with cotton wool is already installed in the base.
