The floor limiter has two functions at once, one of which is that it controls the level of opening of the door leaf. At the same time, the latch is a mechanism that holds the canvas open in one position. At this stage of assembly, for proper fixation, it is required to determine the angle of the door in the position when it is open.
The only difference between a wall-mounted magnetic door latch and a floor-standing one is the installation technology.

Assembly technology depends on the selected product option. Mechanisms with a more complex type of fastening are produced, but there are also those whose installation is simple. Before starting the installation, please read the instructions.
Any limiter consists of a magnetic mechanism and a plate fixed to the surface. It is required to drill holes in the plate for self-tapping screws that are embedded in the floor.
Then you need to screw in the fasteners of the selected diameter. On top of the plates are most often fasteners - locks, each of which is connected to a magnet. The latch can be equipped with screws that secure the main part of the mechanism to the plate.
