Drainage wells are designed to provide access to storm sewer and domestic household systems. The innovative structure of structures is a worthy replacement for concrete products, having a lower cost and high durability. In addition, system maintenance costs are reduced.

Drainage wells provide access to non-pressure sewer networks for maintenance, additional connections and flow path changes.

Drainage storm wells are designed to collect water from parking lots, roads and other surfaces. The devices are equipped with a sedimentary part, where debris and sand accumulate, as well as an outlet for draining rainwater into sewerage systems. For example, the Pipelife plastic well system is produced. The main feature of this model is its prefabricated structure.

The following types of drainage wells are distinguished.

Rotary designed for intermittentcleaning the system with water pressure. Such wells are usually mounted at every second turn of the system, or in places where drainage pipes converge. Thanks to this, it is possible to conveniently access the outlet and inlet pipe sections at the same time.

Rotary systems have different sizes: from small ones, which are designed for flushing pipes, to large ones, which allow a person to go down inside for the purpose of prevention and inspection.

Inspection drainage wells create conditions for monitoring the condition of drainage systems. The devices are built with dimensions that make it easy to climb inside and directly examine the state of the system, as well as eliminate any malfunctions. Inspection structures can be combined with other systems. However, they are not always required.

Absorption drainage wells are built in drained areas in cases where there is no possibility of removing moisture to the main sewer or other watersheds. This system has a simple design. The device is a container in the form of a pipe, which has a diameter of about one and a half and a depth of at least two meters.

It is covered with boiler slag, crushed stone, broken brick or gravel, which is covered with geotextile on top and laid with soil. Backfilling is carried out in the same way at the outer walls and the base of the well. The water from the absorber goes naturally to the lower horizons of the soil.

Another type of drainage systemsare water wells. They serve to collect moisture from the soil if there are no spillways nearby, and for technical reasons it is impossible to place an absorption device due to the high level of groundwater or inappropriate soil type. For the operation of water intake wells, drainage pumps are used, with the help of which water is pumped out. Water intake wells are a structure in the form of a pipe ending with a bottom, covered with geotextiles and sprinkling.
