To correctly select this parameter, it is necessary to know the flow rate of the compressor unit. On most of these devices, this data is printed directly on the case. If they are not there, look at the product passport. The main hose has the largest diameter. When selecting it, it is necessary to take into account the possible length of the entire existing line.

Operating temperature

This characteristic allows the compressor hose to be in working condition within a given range of temperature fluctuations. At high loads, the temperature rises and, as a result, the resistance of the hose to excess pressure decreases, and as a result of exposure to low temperatures on the air installation, the walls of the connecting sleeve may be destroyed and cracked. Therefore, in order to avoid such a situation, it is imperative to take into account the material from which the air hose for the compressor is made. PVC sleeves have a small operating temperature range.

Also, in addition to the above parameters, the hose for the compressor used to work with pneumatic tools must be light in weight, be quite flexible and durable. If the unit connected to it has a low power, up to 100 l / min,the best option would be a polyamide or polyurethane tube. In some cases, with large production capacities, it is better to use a spiral hose. It has a larger resource, and you don't have to worry about its reliability.
