Bath is a cult object in our life. And in the bath, the most important thing is the stove. It depends on her how quickly the heated steam room heats up and cools down. If you decide to make wood-burning stoves for a bath with your own hands, then you should consider that this is a rather complicated matter, requiring certain qualifications.
The stove (its design) largely depends on the type and variety of the bath itself. But today we will talk about the Russian steam room, which is the most common. Having come into it, a person gets rid of physical and mental ailments. We will not cite in the article kilometer-long studies of venerable luminaries of medicine, who have repeatedly proven the benefits of the bath and its role in maintaining human he alth.
For the Russian steam room, stone, and later brick wood-burning stoves for the bath were always used. They warm up slowly, but also do not hurry to cool down. However, laying out a brick oven with your own hands is very difficult. The fact is that for proper styling, one should not only have special skills, butalso use a special refractory brick. In addition, you should take care of building a high-quality and most stable foundation. Waterproofing it must be done very, very carefully.

They should be laid as carefully as possible, laying out the internal volume with refractory bricks, so that the wood-burning stove for a bath does not quickly become unusable.
It is a common misconception that you can use metal stoves for a bath, but this is not so. The metal instantly heats up, making being in the room unbearable. To avoid this, some line the walls with stones or with the same brick.
Unfortunately, this measure does not help much, and the heat turns out to be “wet”. To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to cover wood-burning stoves for a bath only with refractory bricks. It is imperative (!) to leave a gap between the bricks and the metal, the thickness of which must be at least 15 cm. Please note that the thickness of the masonry should not exceed the thickness of the brick itself.

The gap between the pipe and the tank is thoroughly boiled.
In addition, a tap is welded into the wall of the water tank. By the way, it can be installed on the firebox using two rows of refractory bricks for this - so the water will heat up more evenly. Be sure to line the corner in which the oven stands with tiles or foil. This measure will protect you from the danger of fire. If you need a Finnish wood-burning stove for a bath, you will have to turn to specialists: making it yourself is too difficult.
