- Easier than ever. The simplest thing that can be suggested is to try to weed the beds in a timely manner, destroying the weeds. The fact is that excess grass is a kind of shelter for mollusks, because snails lead a night life, and during the day they hide in a large amount of wet grass.
- A living corner. Try to draw in your gardensworn enemies of all snails - birds, frogs and hedgehogs. Do not worry, these animals will not harm your site, but rather, on the contrary, will be useful to you! For example, make birdhouses and feed the birds. If you have a pond in your garden, bring frogs there, and snails - how the wind will blow it away! Make a living corner for hedgehogs: leave natural corners of field grass somewhere along the edges of your garden, build heaps of cut branches of fruit trees (for example, behind a barn or bathhouse), and you will have a hedgehog with his family.
- How to get rid of snails in the garden with the help of special equipment. Special polyethylene films are sold, aimed at combating mollusk pests. Spread such a film for the night all over the plot: on the path, under fruit trees, under shrubs. In the morning, when you turn it over, you will see a whole cluster of snails. Collect them with a scoop in a bucket of water. After - cover it with a lid so that the clams do not come out. There they will die.
- Smells bad. One of the most effective ways to deal with snails in the country is to sow the worst enemies of these mollusks - garlic, onions (as well as sage and parsley). We know that snails' favorite treat is cabbage. Plant as many garlic or onions as possible next to it. For example, the smell of batun will scare away slimy creatures from your cabbage once and for all.
- Sawdust. Sprinkle some sawdust (or wood ash) along the beds. Since the belly of mollusks is slippery, you can feel it on sharp woodysurfaces, they themselves will be, to put it mildly, uncomfortable.

- Big booze. This is a very interesting and creative way to get rid of snails in the garden. The fact is that our country gastropods are big fans of beer, especially the "porter" (dark) variety. Do you understand what we are talking about? Dig in on the area where the greatest activity of snails is noted, small vessels ("buckets") and pour beer into them. The most greedy of the mollusks, bulging their eyes, will certainly rush to the place of the "big booze" - they will drown there! Those that are smarter will simply get drunk and fall off their feet.
