During the execution of plastering work, it is necessary to take into account the temperature in the room. It should not be higher than thirty degrees and not lower than five degrees Celsius. Only in such conditions will the plaster give a smooth and even surface.

  • drying period is one week;
  • setting time - maximum 3 hours;
  • the extreme limit of the applied layer is 60 mm (applied in two passes);
  • recommended layer height - 30 mm;
  • water consumption - 0.65 liters per 1kg of dry mix;
  • mixture costs per 1m2 – 1 kg.

Surface preparation before applying plaster

Before starting plastering work, the plane must be thoroughly cleaned of oil stains, dirt, layers, dust. Then dry. If there are potholes, they are subject to sealing, exfoliated places - to be strengthened, irregularities, s alt deposits and fungi - to be removed. Protruding metal elements are treated with an anti-corrosion mixture. The result should be a rough and even surface. Then it is covered with a primer. After it has completely dried, you can start plastering.
