Home flower fern requires certain conditions for successful development. It does not tolerate dry conditions. For normal development, it needs to create a humid atmosphere. To do this, it will be enough to spray the fern daily. Flowers will also feel great if the pots in which they grow are placed in fairly wide trays into which water is constantly poured. Ferns prefer constantly moist soil, but plants should not be overwatered. They need to be periodically fed with complex fertilizers. Diffused lighting is ideal. For their cultivation, eastern and northern window sills are most suitable. Indoor fern flower prefers moderate temperatures (15-20˚С). The vast majority of these plants do not tolerate temperatures below 10 °C and develop poorly when it rises above 22 °C. When filling the pot with roots, it is necessary to transplant the fern. Flowers are planted in a larger pot in spring. Most young plants need to be repotted annually.

Fern in nature reproduces by spores. What to do with rooma plant? At home, the easiest way to propagate it is to divide the bush when it has shoots. The plant in early spring is disassembled into 2-3 parts, each of which is planted in a separate pot. Some types of ferns reproduce by rooted ground shoots - stolons (sublime nephrolepsis). Particularly rare species are still propagated by germination of spores, but this procedure is very complicated and laborious.
