Masters do not recommend using self-adhesive foam rubber tape when pasting windows. It, of course, can be inserted between the frames, but it requires precisely observing the gap size (approximately 35 mm), which is almost impossible to achieve. If it is smaller, you will get a loophole for a draft, if it is larger, the tape will interfere with the tight closing of the frame. Also, tape for painting and medical plaster will not work. The first after a few weeks will dry out and peel off the frame, reopening all the cracks. The second, on the contrary, will stick so firmly that with the onset of spring it will have to be diligently torn off, and then repaint the window.
