Country housing within the city of St. Petersburg is gradually becoming a full-fledged alternative to the urban real estate market. Horticulture "Zvezdochka" (Pavlovsk) is a vivid example of creating favorable conditions for life in the bosom of nature. Transport accessibility, developed infrastructure, life support and security systems contribute to the growing attractiveness of suburban areas for St. Petersburg residents.

Where is Star Gardening

SNT "Zvezdochka" is located on the southern outskirts of the city of Pavlovsk (Leningrad region), which, along with Peterhof and Pushkin, is the palace and park ensemble of the XVIII century.

The Pavlovsk Palace and the city center are of historical value and are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. More than forty monuments of history and culture, permanent and temporary exhibitions make Pavlovsk (St. Petersburg) one of the most attractive tourist centers.

The palace and park suburb, which bears the stamp of a centuries-old history, is comfortably located on the Slavyanka River and is part of the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg - this is the reason for its convenient location:

  • 25 km south of the northern capital;
  • 3 km southeast of the district center.

The unique charm of nature and the discreet luxury of architecture, like a magnet, attract not only tourists, but also Petersburgers, residents of neighboring settlements. They come here to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, wander along the quiet alleys of the park, and plunge into the special charm of the white nights.

And very close, just 4 kilometers from the Palace and the Park, on Oborony Street, there is a gardening "Zvezdochka" (Pavlovsk). Who are they, the happy owners of land plots located within the boundaries of this amazing city, whose past is inextricably linked with the glorious history of the Russian state?

To be a horticultural partnership

Plots of land in the vicinity of Pavlovsk were originally issued to military personnel and employees of military unit No. 25780, located in the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg, their families and civilians.

The horticultural non-profit partnership Zvyozdochka begins its history on January 27, 1992, when the charter of the SNT was discussed and adopted at a general meeting by the owners of land plots.

After 9 months, according to the order of the head of the administration of Pavlovsk dated October 14, 1993 No. 404, 217 were withdrawn from the lands belonging to the municipalityha and 79 of them were transferred to horticulture.

Two years later, in accordance with the order of the administration of Pavlovsk dated 09.10.1995 No. 354-r, the territory of horticulture was expanded and amounted to 973684 m2, including 224109 m2 of public land.

The partnership was entered into the state register on September 4, 2002

How to get there by public transport

Driving to the well-maintained gardening is quite easy. This is facilitated by a convenient location on the southern outskirts of the cultural and historical suburb of Pavlovsk, Leningrad Region.

From Pavlovsk Park and the Palace you can take bus No. 379-A or fixed-route taxi No. 286, which also goes from the Pavlovsk railway station. The final destination in each case is the same - you need to get to the ring, located at the very end of the street. Defense.

The bus stop is located within walking distance from any site of the gardening partnership. Until mid-June, schoolchildren are given the opportunity to travel at reduced rates - for this you need to present a student ID.

Wishing to get to the Zvyozdochka SNT, you only need to solve the problem of how to get to Pavlovsk. There is a direct connection with St. Petersburg - you can get there from the Kupchino metro station by minibus number 286.

The length of the route along the Pulkovskoye Highway is 23 kilometers. Traffic jams are possible: in Pushkin near the Ring Road, in Pavlovsk - in the city center. The situation is aggravated in the summer, when the summer season begins.

Alternative transport - train

The most practical way to get to Pavlovsk is by train from the Vitebsk railway station (metro station "Pushkinskaya"). This option of transportation is not only convenient, but also interesting:

  • allows you to view the station building, the locomotive museum and the children's railway;
  • gives the opportunity to travel along the first railway line in Russia, laid between St. Petersburg and Tsarskoye Selo.

You can get there by any train, as they all follow Pavlovsk one after another with a 30-minute interval. Travel time is half an hour, and the threat of delays due to traffic jams is eliminated. Access to the railway platform is through the turnstiles, the pass is the barcode on the ticket. Controllers are working on the line.

On weekdays, the issue of train travel is easier to solve than on weekends and holidays, especially in summer. On weekdays, train cars are free, you can ride sitting. Electric trains look completely different in the summer: at the station there is a queue for tickets, in the cars there is a flea market. But there are no traffic jams.

Horticulture management

The supreme body of self-government of the horticultural partnership is the general meeting of the SNT. At the first meeting, held on January 27, 1992, the charter of the SNT was adopted, which to this day regulates the main issues of the life of the non-profit association of gardeners. Copies of all minutes of the general meeting shall be deposited with the administration of the city of Pushkin.

For conducting financial and economicA board of directors has been set up and meets every month on the second and fourth Saturdays. The horticultural self-government body consists of eight people, including the chairman of the board of the SNT and the secretary.

The range of issues that the board deals with is wide. Among them:

  • land record keeping and dispute resolution;
  • interaction with authorities and departmental organizations;
  • accounting and reporting;
  • organization of security and access control (entry is carried out by cards);
  • solving electrical problems;
  • beautification of the territory.

To successfully resolve all issues, taking into account the specifics of a non-profit partnership, all land plots are combined into lines and quarters.

Line commissioners are annually elected at the quarter meeting. They then elect the members of the audit commission, who are obliged to check the volumes and prices of services provided by the board.

Control over the spending of funds is carried out by the Audit Commission, which includes members of the SNT, elected at the meeting of the quarter.

Membership fees are accepted on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. All information related to partnership management is available on the official gardening website.

Everyday life of a gardening association

The workdays of gardeners living on the outskirts of the palace and park complex of Pavlovsk, part of the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg, deserve special attention.

Gardening is developing, every year the plots of the members of the partnership, the adjacent territories are changing, becoming more and more dissimilar to each other, interesting and rationally equipped. This is how members of the non-profit association bring the spirit of creativity and creation into the general atmosphere of Zvezdochka.

The board of the SNT does not stand aside: it covers the initiative of the members of the partnership in the media, holds competitions for the best design of flower beds and flower beds, recreation areas, lawns (green lawns) and alpine slides.

Ecological safety and care for nature are even evident in such nuances as the installation of a plastic collection container, which appeared near the trash can at the entrance to gardening in the fall of 2017.

In social networks, information about “lost” dogs and the search for good hands for a kitten, about the willingness to donate seedlings and seedlings of the same age of white derain, girlish grapes and currants, which sprouted by self-sowing in one of the plots, runs through social networks.

It is felt that in the horticultural partnership, which is filled with eternal everyday problems familiar to gardeners in any part of Russia, an atmosphere of kindness and mutual assistance reigns.

Do good to others for good…

Do good, give joy to your loved ones and others - a distinctive feature of the residents included in the gardening "Zvezdochka"(Pavlovsk). A vivid example of the responsiveness, nobility and solidarity of the members of the horticultural partnership is helping fire victims from the 4th line. When the only modest housing of pensioners burned down in May 2017, the whole world managed to raise funds for which a new house was built before the cold weather.

Nearest neighbors organized debris removal, first aid and fundraising after the fire. Concerned members of horticulture, trade construction companies and even the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra responded to the call for help, raising a significant amount. Lumber, crushed stone and sand, metal tiles, OSB boards, insulation and siding for exterior decoration were brought free of charge or at deep discounts.

Thanks to joint efforts, after 5 months, in October 2017, a reliable and warm house was built and ready to move in, warmed by the warmth of other people's hearts, which responded to someone else's grief.

This example of selfless help is just a touch from the everyday life of a gardening partnership.

Life-giving force of nature

By purchasing a plot in SNT "Zvyozdochka", the owner of the land allotment gets, first of all, the opportunity to live and raise children in the bosom of nature, in environmentally friendly conditions. The state museum-reserve located in Pavlovsk leaves its mark on the surrounding nature.

The park area, created in the 18th-19th centuries, is an example of the refined taste and architectural art of such classicist masters as Voronikhin, Brenna, Gonzago, Cameron. The rhythm of life in the park is measured and unhurried. It seems to protect the atmosphere of harmony, goodwill, sincerity that reigns in this majestic place.

Grow in the park:

  • more than 50 species of trees, among them: conifers (pines and spruces), aspens, birches, willows, lindens, oaks and elms, mountain ash, bird cherry, alder;
  • over 80 types of shrubs, among them: acacias, spireas, shrub willows, derains.

At the entrance, the park area is like a wild forest, almost pristine, overgrown with centuries-old trees and forest flowers in the lowlands. Approaching the palace, you involuntarily find yourself surrounded by Central Russian meadows framed by lindens and birches.

Squirrels meet visitors at the entrance gate of the park. Titmouse do not lag behind them. Flocks of squirrels and titmouse scurry all over the territory. They are not afraid of people, they take seeds right from the palm of their hand.

The forested area abounds with birds and mammals. Hares, ermines, weasels, hedgehogs, voles, muskrats are the most common inhabitants of these places. Elks, wild boars and foxes visit the park in winter.

From the southwest, a forested area adjoins the gardening area - it separates the railway from the village. Agricultural land is spread among the forests.

The feeling of solitude and peace is created by the surrounding nature, filled with silence and the sounds of nature. Gardening "Zvezdochka" (Pavlovsk) gives its inhabitants rest and tranquility.

Water resources

Non-profit partnershiplocated near two rivers:

  • Izhora - one and a half kilometers from SNT;
  • Slavyanka - in Pavlovsk park.

The Slavyanka river meanders around the picturesque hills, forming the landscape style of one of the six landscape areas of Pavlovsk Park.

In the valley of the Slavyanka River there are the colonnade of Apollo and the bathing rotunda. The bridge of the Centaurs, thrown over the river, is decorated with sculptures. On the peninsula in the bend of the Slavyanka, a rotunda temple was erected. The mill (Peel Tower) with a thatched roof is located in the river valley.

Izhora, flowing near the horticulture, calmly flows among the gently sloping banks, overgrown with lush greenery and woodlands, creating small picturesque rocky rifts and quiet backwaters, teeming with crucian carp, rotan, perch and pike.

True, it should be borne in mind that the waters of the Slavyanka and Izhora are considered polluted, as in other rivers flowing within St. Petersburg.

Outside view and reviews from the Internet

You can put together a bright mosaic from the reviews of people who live in gardening or directly in Pavlovsk permanently or come there on vacation:

  • Pavlovsk is a quiet, unhurried, beautiful and cozy city, it is alien to the bustle of the metropolis;
  • life here is completely different - sleepy and leisurely;
  • solitude provides an opportunity for a complete reset, when thoughts of work give way to walks in the park and relaxation in the bosom of nature;
  • fire and personal safety in horticulture highlevel;
  • territory landscaped;
  • people are not indifferent.

The indifference of residents is also confirmed by lively discussions of posts on social networks, no matter what the topic is: about the volume of electricity consumed, the work of the board, road repairs, gasification, or a Labrador who ran away from the yard.

There are also cons:

  • big breaks in train schedules – you have to adjust to transport if you don’t have your own car;
  • paid entrance to Pavlovsky Park;
  • a significant part of the active youth crowded and bored in a leisurely calm;
  • The cost of renting comfortable housing is very high;
  • Izhora's pollution makes it impossible to fully enjoy your vacation by the water surface.

Escaped from the sleepy bliss of a quiet town, young people most often return here again when they have their children, and forever become attached to the charm of a measured rhythm, calmness and solitude. Fortunately, Peter is still no more than half an hour away by train.

Pavlovsk is truly a blessed place. No wonder these lands were granted to the future Emperor Paul I by his mother Catherine II for the construction of a country residence. SNT "Zvezdochka" on the outskirts of Pavlovsk is a cozy island where many residents of the noisy metropolis strive to escape at least for the summer, taking their children to an ecologically clean place.
