The durability and performance of any residential buildings largely depend on the condition of their foundation - the platform on which the entire structure is based. This supporting element is the most important part of the structure, as it takes all the load from the higher standing elements. Therefore, strengthening the foundation is of paramount importance to ensure the reliable and safe operation of any building.

The purpose of the foundation and its design features make this key element of the structure the most difficult to model and predict its functionality during construction and operation. The fact is that this main bearing element is constantly under the simultaneous influence of many different, often difficult to take into account, factors. The most significant of them are changes in the properties of the base, various natural phenomena and all kinds of human economic activities.

In this aspect, it is especially important to strengthen the foundation of a private house, since such buildings, as a rule, are most susceptible to changes in the properties and characteristics of the soil due to the negative impact of groundwater. In addition, the environment and various natural phenomena have an unusually strong influence on the foundations of private country houses.

Strengthening the foundation of a house is done in many different ways. Such a variety of methods and techniques is due to the regular appearance of the latest technologies and more advanced construction techniques on the building materials market. Keeping track of all the new products is simply unrealistic. Therefore, as practice shows, most people, starting to strengthen the foundation of their home, prefer proven and reliable methods.

More often than others, the foundation of a private house is strengthened by the classical method, the essence of which is to lay a new, so to speak, additional foundation around the house. In other words, a kind of auxiliary support is created with several basic fixation points for the entire building structure. The number of these points depends on the degree of destruction (wear and tear) of the main foundation and the size of the structure. Strengthening the foundation in this relatively simple way is very popular due to its low cost and reliability.

Another fairly popular method of imparting strength and reliability to the building structure is the method of bored injection piles. Strengthening the foundation in this way is now considered perhaps the most modern approach to solving this problem. Insofar asthe technique of bored piles involves the use of innovative building technologies and the latest materials, this pleasure is not cheap, but the result exceeds all expectations.

Here, it is unlikely that it will be possible to do without specialists and complex construction equipment. The essence of the technology is as follows. In the existing foundation from two or four sides, again, depending on the individual characteristics of the house and its foundation, inclined wells with a diameter of 15–25 cm are punched. High-strength concrete or cement is poured into the holes formed, then a reinforcing cage made of high-quality structural steel. As a result, after the solution dries, a completely new foundation is obtained with a large number of reinforced concrete pile structures, on which the entire building is based. The drilling depth of such inclined wells depends entirely on the qualities and characteristics of the soil. Often, holes are punched before the drill meets very hard rock. Such a base with its reliability, strength and durability resembles a rock monolith.
