The majestic rose is rightfully considered the best decoration of the garden, pleasing with its delicate aroma and all kinds of shades. Many bred varieties of different groups are popular: Floribunda, hybrid tea, polyanthus, parka, curly, miniature.
Description of hybrid tea rose
Roses are distinguished by such basic qualities as the tenderness and beauty of the inflorescence, and resistance to cold weather, provided winter shelter. They inherited this from their parents - tea and repair roses. A clear advantage is the long flowering period, including a short break, after which the plant blooms again.
Hybrid tea bushes look great in a group planting, and the flowers are used as a cut to make a bouquet thanks to the long, stable stem and graceful inflorescences that the tea rose gave to the hybrid. Description of the properties of the variety: large elongated goblet-shaped flowers, the number of petals in one bud ranges from 20 to 50, the leaves are dark green glossy. These roses also have a few large reddish thorns.
Description of the Floribunda rose
The flowers of these roses are brightly colored, goblet-shaped and saucer-shaped, with varying degrees of doubleness. They are collected in inflorescences. Medium-sized bushes are decorative and compact, a long period of abundant flowering and resistance to cold are the main properties of a species favored by gardeners.
Polyanthus rose
This rose is capable of multiple re-blooming and increased resistance to cold. Description of the red rose of the polyanthus species of the Border King variety: scarlet cup-shaped flowers 6 cm wide, a bush 60–70 cm high, with up to 45 buds, is used to decorate borders. Repeat flowering is less intense and ends earlier than other species.
Park roses
They appeared as a result of the cultivation of wild roses - dogrose. Description of the rose: dense bushes 1.5–2 m high are covered with numerous inflorescences, including 3–6 flowers of increased doubleness up to 8 cm in size. Flowering lasts a little more than a month, but the plants do not require shelter for the winter. Tall, dense shrubs are suitable for creating hedges or garden paths.
Curly rose
For a climbing (climbing) rose, the presence of numerous shoots, sometimes reaching 5 m, is characteristic, the growth of which is guided by the creation of a special frame. Buds can be of different sizes and shapes. Flowering is plentiful, lasts about 1 month. Some climbing roses bloom repeatedly. To increase the number of buds on the shoot, it is better to use a horizontal frame. At the endsummer, rooting of shoots for propagation is possible, but it is better to transplant in the spring.
Miniature rose
She is one of the smallest. Rose description: plant height 15-20 cm, rarely 30 cm. Small flowers with a large number of petals are decorative and are used to decorate flower beds and borders. With proper care, miniature roses bloom all summer, flowering weakens in hot weather, as the plant needs sufficient watering. To cover a miniature rose, it is enough to sprinkle the flower with a 30 cm layer of sawdust or earth. This species also feels comfortable in a pot.
