A washstand for giving is a necessary thing. Those who visit the site only in the summer can get by with home-made devices from plastic bottles, car rubber or other improvised materials. Those who like to be in the country all year round will have to install a heated washbasin. Agree, washing your hands with ice water is not very pleasant. There are two ways to solve the problem. The easiest way is to buy a country washbasin. Today in stores you can find a variety of models at a variety of prices. But if you like to do everything yourself, you can assemble the device yourself. However, improvised means will not work here, you will have to purchase some parts in stores.
Washstand for giving. What will be required?
First, we make a list of what we will have to buy in the store.
- Metal profile for frame device.
- Sink for washing. Even one that has already been used will do.
- Pipe (preferably corrugated) for drainwater from the tank to the sink. It is better to immediately buy a ready-made siphon.
- Pipe for draining water into the sewer, along with all necessary fasteners.
- Water tank.
- Teng (the water must be heated with something).
Washstand for giving. Let's start building
The best place to start is by creating a blueprint. We draw a rack (frame) and place on it all the necessary devices. And only after that we start to work. We assemble a frame from a metal profile. It can be welded or bolted. The main thing is that the design is stable and durable. Now let's start creating a plum. We install the sink, attach the siphon to it, equip the drain. The simplest option is to place a bucket under the sink. But, firstly, it will have to be constantly endured. Secondly, an unpleasant odor can come from such a container. Finally, a bucket is unaesthetic. Therefore, we take a corrugated pipe, we carry it under the floor outside the house. There, about five meters from the walls, we organize a drain hole.
By the way, some craftsmen use cut plastic bottles inserted into each other instead of a finished pipe. The method is cheaper, but less reliable. In any case, outside the house, the drain pipe is dug in so as not to stumble on it and not to break the rather fragile structure. The drain is ready, we assemble the countertop. You can also buy it, or you can make it from existing scraps of wood.
Only such a creation must be sheathed with a moisture-resistant coating,Otherwise, the countertop will quickly rot. Under the tabletop you can put a cabinet with doors. A washstand for giving should take up little space, but be as functional as possible. Now we return to the frame and install a water tank on it. It can be a store-bought tank or a plastic bottle. There is a subtlety here: the larger the tank, the more convenient it is to use. You don't have to save. We insert a heating element inside the tank. This is where the help of a specialist electrician is required: jokes are bad with electricity. Everything seems to be. The resulting design may even look relatively decent. However, if you want to make your country house beautiful and cozy, it is better to spend money on buying a ready-made washstand. It is more reliable, more aesthetic and not much more expensive. However, it's up to you.
