"My home is my castle" - the words of this saying can become the motto of modern housing. Indeed, settling in a house or apartment, we care not only about coziness and comfort, elegant atmosphere, tasteful design. We want to feel safe, secure. Therefore, we install additional entrance doors, insert clever locks, and make bars on the windows.
Protection protection strife
Modern welded gratings on windows bear little resemblance to the typical ones we used to see on the first and second floors of buildings in Soviet times. Often they not only did not fit into the architectural design of buildings, but also violated the appearance of the facades, disfigured them. Even the shades of colors that covered the bars did not save the situation - welded window grilles did not get any better from this. Of course, such buildings did not look like prison buildings, but the sensations at the sight of them arose gloomy. Now, of course, a lot has changed. And the current market provides the consumer with a fairly wide choice of this protective accessory, ranging fromsize, type, material, pattern. What's more, welded gratings can be custom-made according to an individual pattern. Thanks to such a variety, after their installation, the building will not only not lose in its appearance, but even win.
Varieties of styles
Grates are installed on the entire sash or part of it. There are also opening doors - one or two, like shutters. Typically, welded and wrought iron bars are used for windows. The first ones are cheaper. The latter provide more options in terms of design. The third type of accessory is ventilation, but they have a slightly different purpose. Welded metal gratings are made, as a rule, from rods with a diameter of 10 mm or more, frames for them are made from corners with parameters from 25 mm to 4 mm. For an openwork pattern, strips of 20 mm by 2 mm are taken. By execution, they can be flat and voluminous, convex, as well as sliding. The advantage of such products of protective equipment is the possibility of modifications: if desired, additional decorative elements are inserted into the existing project. Cooking areas are processed so that the seams and joints are practically invisible. Pay attention to the welded window bars, the photo of which you see. How much bizarre fantasy, sophistication, grace of bends and contours are in them! Not like “the sky in a checkered stripe”, as in standard Soviet times! Although traditional patterns, thanks to the skill of designers and welders, are now taking on a new life.
Typologypatterns
Enterprises that produce metal protective bars on windows use the following types of patterns:
- "sun" - with two arcs and straight rods - "rays";
- "big rhombus" - the binding of vertical rods and the rods laid across them in the form of a voluminous rhombus (the middle of the window);
- "small rhombus" - oblique weaving;
- "openwork" - rods with graceful curls in the style of rococo and classicism;
- "flowers" - patterns stylized as decorative and floral themes, floral motifs look very elegant and easy, pleasantly decorating even rather nondescript windows;
- original varieties of the "wave" pattern, especially in combination with the geometric elements of the ensemble, such gratings do not prevent the penetration of air into the room, but they will protect from intruders very, very reliably.
As you can see, it is important for buildings and you can choose not only a harmonious, but also a beautiful window protection option that performs an aesthetic function.
