Having tried different methods - chemical and ultrasonic repellers, aerosols, creams and gels, many come to the conclusion that there is nothing more reliable than the most common vanillin. The usual anti-mosquito drugs sold in pharmacies almost do not save from midges. They still cope with mosquitoes, but the ubiquitous small fry do not seem to notice them. Just as stubbornly climbs into all the cracks and stings.
