For the manufacture of high quality shoes, a wide variety of connecting materials are used. The method of simultaneous stitching and gluing prolongs the service life of products. Nairite glue is one of the most reliable and versatile materials, which is most often used for the production and repair of shoes.

Features

This substance is used to bond materials such as leather, rubber, foam rubber, wood, plastic and fabric.

Main component Chloroprene rubber
Liquid Shade Light beige
Non-volatile solvents About 24%
Viscosity index About 2,600 MPaˑs at 22 C
Density indicator About 0.85g/cm³
Opening time limit 65 min.
Plamination index About 62 N/cm in 24 hours
Measure of achievementmaximum joint strength About 190 minutes
Heat resistance index 75 C

Nairite glue has a lot of useful properties:

- High thermal resistance and strength. Only low-toxic substances were found in the composition. Chloroprene rubber resin is the main component, it also contains synthetic additives, non-volatile solvents and thermal vulcanizers. It is thanks to these components that the glue is of such high quality.

- It is sufficiently resistant to moisture, acids and petroleum products. Shoes made using nairite glue will serve for a long time even in adverse environmental conditions (rain, snow, wind, frost, etc.). The junction literally repels water and does not allow it to be absorbed. And so the feet will not get wet, regardless of weather conditions. Many shoe makers treat the seams with glue, which seals the joint and prevents moisture from entering the product. It is used to repair rubber boats, diving suits and car tubes.

- The connection remains flexible even at low temperatures. A seam treated with this substance retains plasticity in any weather and does not allow the product to crack.

- The mixture is quite easy to use. There are two ways to use it: hot and cold. Both are reliable, but the cold one is a little easier, because hot ones require speci altools.

- High adhesive qualities. The adhesive provides excellent adhesion even on porous materials.

- Does not spoil for a long time. Does not lose its qualities even when open (but not more than 65 minutes).

Applications

As already mentioned, nairite glue can be used in two ways.

Hot:

- The first stage is preparatory work, which involves cleaning the surface from dust and dirt. After that, it must be degreased with an alcohol solution and dried.

- Applying glue. The first layer should be thin. After 15 minutes, you need to apply a second. After that, the products are dried in a ventilated room or on the street for 35-45 minutes at a temperature of at least +20°C.

- Warming up. This stage involves heating the surfaces to a temperature of about 100 ° C. After that, the parts to be processed must be pressed tightly against each other.

- The final stage. Products must be left for 6 hours, after which they can already be used.

The cold method is suitable for materials that do not have heat-resistant qualities: polymers, foam rubber or cardboard:

- The first stage is the cleaning of products.

- Applying glue. Nairite glue is applied on the surface in a thin layer, then they need to be dried for about 10 minutes at a temperature of at least +22°C.

- Bonding. Firmly press the surfaces together and hold for 5-8 minutes.

- After which they must be left in an upright position for 24 hours. Done.

Storage rules

Store the mixture in the original container, it is very important not to damage it. Warranty period - no more than 1 year at a temperature of +6 to +22 degrees away from open flames. Nairite shoe glue can thicken even if all the rules are followed, but this is not scary. It can be diluted with ethyl acetate and high octane gasoline. The composition is prepared simply, you need to mix glue and solvents in equal proportions. The main thing is to gradually pour them into the glue mixture and stir thoroughly.

When applying, it is important to remember that the mixture is flammable. Work should be carried out away from open flames; smoking near an open can of liquid is prohibited. Nairite glue contains only low-toxic substances, but you need to work with it only in buildings that are well ventilated.

If the adhesive is transported at a low temperature, the viscosity increases. However, this can be corrected by leaving it for a few hours in a warm building. After that, its qualities are restored.
