How it works:
- Material is placed on the work surface.
- Upper locking arm lowers.
- Electricity is supplied at the signal of the operator, the indicator lights up, and the process of heating the working surface of the bar begins, the polyethylene is soldered together. The procedure usually takes no more than 5 seconds.
- After completion, power is cut off, the indicator goes out, and the upper bar rises.
The width of the seam depends on the type of device: usually from 2 to 10 mm.

- Portable bag sealer: manual operation limits production speed but adds portability.
- Outdoor sealer. Mounted on carrier racks. Control by means of a pedal located in the lower part of the device. Only the operator's foot is involved in the work. - Sealer for bags with a knife - it can be a table and floor type. The upper lever along the axis has a mounted knife with a handle, the movement of which cuts off the unnecessary part of the polyethylene outside the weld.
Vacuum sealer: types and purpose
Vacuumizing keeps the contents of the bag from evaporating moisture and bacteria, as well as from other types of contaminants, extending the life of products and protecting household items from damage.
Types of vacuum sealers:
- Desktop bag sealer, with suction of air from the bag, or from the container using a special tube.
- Desk top packer for disposable trays.
- Pack sealers(floor type): with automatic cutting, with manual cutting. Provide simultaneous sealing of large volumes of products. Depending on the type of work surface, it can pack bags and containers.
Material with which the vacuum bag sealer works: plastic bags (smooth, corrugated, sleeve), roll food film.

The principle of operation of vacuum bag sealers
The desktop manual soldering machine has small dimensions, which makes it convenient and has a relatively inexpensive cost, cheap models are made with a plastic case.
The vacuum bag sealer works on the principle:
- First, a tubular film of the required length is cut off by hand, one end is placed on the Teflon strip of the device and covered with a lid. After pressing the "splice" button, the end of the package is glued together.
- The lid of the machine is lifted and the necessary item is placed in the cellophane.
- The second edge of the bag is placed on the Teflon strip and the lid is closed.
- After pressing the "vacuum" button is carried outair extraction and final product packaging.
When working with special plastic containers that come with the machine, a tube is connected to a special hole in the lid through which air is pumped out.
The floor packer has a special table, along which, on one or both sides, there is a Teflon strip, on which packages for sealing are laid out. After pressing the button, the cover is lowered, air is pumped out and glued.
Vacuum Tray Sealer
To pack products in disposable trays, bag sealers can be used: floor or tabletop. In the first case - for the simultaneous processing of a large number of trays, in the second - with only two small niches. Work with rolled cling film.
The principle of action is to install containers in special compartments, after closing the lid, air will be pumped out and sealed with a film.
If there is a bag sealer with a knife, then the film will be cut automatically according to the shape of the cell; in a conventional packer, the operator cuts the film manually with a special device.
Tray packers can be found everywhere: from a regular canteen or cafe to a large grocery store of a company or store.
Roller bag sealer: design feature, principle of operation
The roller sealer is designed to form a seam of unlimited length and belongs to devices with constant heating. Appliesfor sealing bags made of multilayer thick, laminated, paper and aluminum films, as well as standard polyethylene.
Has a conveyor type construction:

- Height, speed and heat control.

Depending on the installation method of the roller mechanism, there are horizontal and vertical bag sealers. The floor type is used for vertical packaging with the height of the work surface adjusted to the product level. The desktop model is used for horizontal gluing of bags.

- Regularly clean the Teflon heating strip from film residue or dirt.
