People who are unfamiliar with the construction business, and also poorly versed in wood, which is suitable for use, may not know what kind of material it is and why it is considered the cheapest. A business slab is lumber, which is considered a waste when sawing a log, or rather, it sawed off its side. Due to the peculiarities of the cut, it turns out that one side of the board is sawn, and the second is semicircular and most often with bark from a tree. This method of application is due to the fact that after cutting the quality of these wastes is too poor. Further exploitation of this material is no longer possible.
However, in order not to throw mountains of waste from the sawmill, they are sold at significantly reduced prices for kindling stoves in the winter. A completely different story is obtained with a business slab. Of course, it can also be used as a kindling material, but its main task in recent years has been the construction of non-residential buildings, fences and fences. However, there are a couple of downsides. These include the fact that you have to get rid of the bark of the tree yourself, which remains on one side of the board. Another disadvantage is that you will have to treat this material with pesticides.
Heat-treated version of croaker
It is worth noting that business slab is not quite waste, as almost everyone believes. When sawing a log, if it is necessary to get a business slab, they try to create the same width and thickness for eachboards. Under the heat-treated slab is meant lumber, which, among other things, was subjected to heat treatment, that is, high temperatures. This procedure is carried out in a special chamber. The quality of such material is much higher, but the price will be higher.
