Advantages and disadvantages of the stockade
Palisade is a fence that has a lot of advantages. In terms of reliability and protective functions, it can be put on a par with brick and concrete fences. And the pointed tops and the massiveness of the logs create an additional psychologicalbarrier. Since the palisade is to some extent a symbol of the impregnability of ancient fortresses, which has been formed by people for a long time.

Types of palisade
The palisade is divided into two types:

- False stockade.
With the usual, everything is clear: thick logs are taken, sharpened, processed and mounted in the fence section.
False picket fence saves time and money while still looking the same as a normal picket fence. During its manufacture, a slab with pointed edges is stuffed onto an ordinary wooden fence. Thus, from the front side, it looks like a palisade.
The only disadvantage of this approach will be the loss of the protective functions of the fence.
Despite the low prevalence and popularity of this type of fence, we can say that the palisade is a very functional and durable fence. Moreover, with a creative approach, it can become a worthy decoration for any site.
