No modern enterprise can start its work without the consent of the fire authorities. To obtain a permit, several points of requirements must be met, including ensuring the fire safety of the facility. For this purpose, they purchase automatic or manual fire extinguishing equipment, install fire warning equipment, train personnel to work with this equipment, and also conduct fire safety briefings. One of the large number of warning systems offered on the market is the Astra-712 security and fire control device.
Features
The Astra-712 device has such features as:
Ability to work in two modes (security, fire)
Arming and disarming is carried out using a button on the remote control or remotely using a key fob
When working in fire mode, various control sensors are installed with the issuance of an audible alarm if they are triggered
Possibility of power supply both from 220 V mains and from a backup source of 12 V
Arming mode provides control of loop conditions and has two positions: normal or violation. Gives out a light and sound signal.
The fire mode has three states: normal, violation and malfunction. When the sensors are triggered, sound and light alarms are turned on.
When the premises are armed or when the control of fire detectors is turned on, the device can be turned on and off using hidden switches or using a key fob remotely. To use a remote wireless switch (key fob), the device must be equipped with an additional UBOS system (wireless security alarm device) "Astra-RI".
"Astra-712". Instructions for installing in the "security" mode
Arming is done in the following order:
Close all doors, windows on which security contact detectors are installed
Turn on the hidden switch located in the room or using the key fob. A beep will sound to indicate the start of the delay countdown
Leave the protected premises at the set time, close the front door
After the delay time, the device switches to the "protection" mode. If it was not possible to leave the premises on time, the remote control will signal an "alarm"
Disarming occurs in reverse order:
Open the room. The device enters the "delay" state and a short beep sounds
Turn off before the end of the delay timea switch located in the room, or disarm with a key fob. If the shutdown time exceeds the set one, the siren on the central console issues an “alarm” and an audible signal is heard
"Astra-712". Connection in fire mode
This mode of the device makes it possible to control the risk of fire using special sensors.
Installation:
check the he alth of the loop (on the remote - “ready”);
arm the object with a switch or key fob;
make sure the standby mode is on
Disarm:
turn off the toggle switch or disarm the device with a key fob;
after 10 seconds, the device switches to the "ready" mode, a signal appears on the indicator, a beep is heard
Connection together with the Astra-712 device of fire detectors must be carried out in accordance with the requirements established by the manufacturer: voltage is supplied through the loop, power is not less than 9 V (type IP 212-41M, IP 212-54N or with the same characteristics).
Power supplies
To power the Astra-712 device, it is recommended to use a 220 V AC network as the main source. A 12 V battery is used as a backup source. the audible alarm that may sound at this time) will come from a 12 V backup battery. Connection of the main and backup sources should be carried out only afterhow the instruction manual attached to the Astra-712 device will be properly studied. Deviating from the rules is strongly discouraged!
To ensure reliable and safe operation during operation of the device, the correct installation, connection, configuration and maintenance of the Astra-712 device can only be carried out by workers who are authorized to work in electrical installations up to 1000 V and who know the requirements of the instructions for this device.
