Its indisputable advantages are weather resistance and moisture resistance, due to which it is most often placed directly inside sewer pipes and drains. If, for some reason, installation inside the sewer is not acceptable, then the heating cable for pipes can be laid along the drain, from below.

One end of the cable is insulated. On thethe other has wires for mounting to electricity. These heaters can be connected to electrical switches, equipped with sockets so that they turn on only when necessary. If it is required to maintain a constant temperature and prevent the sewer from freezing, then it can be connected to a thermostat.

The cable is laid inside the drain or in a spiral approach to the roof, and the electrical outlets are connected to an electrical switch or an electrical plug is mounted on them.
