A gazebo on the site today is not a luxury, but an urgent need. In this small room they spend their holidays with the family, receive guests, arrange holidays, etc. It is not difficult to build such an object in the garden or in the yard with your own hands. Types of wooden arbors
Only two types of structures can be assembled from timber. Frame buildings are very beautiful. In addition, these are the cheapest structures - panel arbors made of timber. With their own hands, they are assembled very simply. Therefore, this option is by far the most popular among summer residents. You can also build a more solid gazebo, the parapet of which will be entirely assembled from timber. Sometimes closed gazebos are also built in this way in suburban areas, which can be used all year round. Very often, barbecues are installed inside these structures. You can make such useful furnace equipment both from brick and from stone or metal.
Composing a project
Of course, the construction of structures such as arbors from timber, with their own hands, should begin with the drawing up of drawings. It is best to draw two construction schemes - frontal and profile. It is also worth making a plan from above with the placement of all the necessary garden furniture and the necessary equipment.
The shape of the gazebo can be rectangular or multifaceted. The first option in the construction is very simple. Using a slightly more complex technology, a multifaceted gazebo is built from a bar. How to choose timber

For the construction of these structures, softwood is usually taken. It can be, for example, fir, pine, cedar or spruce. The second option is the most preferred. Pine tolerates the effects of various kinds of adverse environmental factors very well. In addition, this wood is smooth, durable and has an attractive shade.

Building the foundation

- Perform the markup using an inelastic strong cord and long wooden pegs.
- Drill holes for poles with a diameter of about 30 cm and a depth of about 50. The distance between them should be no more than 1.5 m.
- Pour some rubble into the bottom of the pits and tamp it down.
- The formwork is installed from roofing material rolled into a pipe and four reinforcing bars connected with a clamp.
- The columns are being poured. In the upper part of the extreme piles, rods are inserted under the racks of the gazebo. They should protrude 20 cm above the surface.
After waiting a couple of weeks, the foundation is waterproofed from above with two layers of roofing material and the construction of walls begins.
Assembling the frame and parapet
When arranging such structures as panel arbors from timber, they first make the lower trim with their own hands. In the corners, the material is planted on rods and fastened in a “half-tree” way. - Two beams are installed diagonally on the upper trim at the corners. From a bar with a thickness of about 40-50 mm, an octagonal column is machined along the height of the roof and fixed at their intersection.
- First place the corner stops. Landing nests can be cut both in themselves and in racks.
- Mount four intermediate (auxiliary) rafters. All legs are attached to the rack in the middle with long nails.
- Across the rafters, a crate from a narrow board is fixed.
- Mount sheets of metal or any other roofing material.
Sheathing the parapet of the panel gazebo

Rack decoration

Decorative slatted frames are assembled on the ground. Then they are installed over the parapet. For their installation, you need to prepare a fairly thick beam. A rectangle is knocked down from it according to the size of the gazebo opening and fastened to the resulting slat frame at an angle of 45 or 90 degrees. Next, they make another such rectangle from a bar and also upholster it. Then both frames are connected to each other in such a way that the slats are inside the resulting structure and are arranged crosswise. Then the finished decorative elements are inserted into the openings.
Final stage
