No kitchen can be imagined without the main assistant in cooking - stoves. The milestone of the taming of fire by man was marked by the appearance of modern heating devices, among the variety of which it is impossible to leave unnoticed electric stoves "Gorenie". For more than half a century, a company from Slovenia has been delighting consumers with high-quality and functional goods at reasonable prices. There are three types of stoves in the company's line: gas, combined and electric. What is the advantage of the latest plates and what is their cost will be discussed in this article.

From farm equipment to stoves

The history of the company, which today is revered by sixty countries on all continents, began in the post-war years in the Yugoslav village of Gorenje. At first it was a blacksmith shop. Its staff as of 1950 was 10 people. When Ivan Atelshek became the head of the workshop, diversification beganproduction. Along with popular fruit presses, a small business patented the first threshing machine in 1956.

Following the successful introduction of new agricultural implements, the company pursued 150 more patents in subsequent years. Two years later, "Gorenie" switched to mass production. Then, in 1958, the company produced the first solid fuel stoves, called "Toby".

The company's move to the mining town of Velenye also had a positive impact on the development of production. There, a metalworking organization was housed in the vacant premises of a mining company that was interested in creating jobs for women whose husbands worked in the coal industry. Then saw the light, released for the first time, gas and electric stoves "Gorenie".

Modern types

The variety of this type of household appliances is great. The Slovenian company, keeping up with the times, produces three types of stoves. These are gas, electric and combined models. The gas type of the stationary stove is driven by natural gas supplied to the burners of the appliance.

The Gorenje electric stove differs from its gas counterpart in that its power source is current. In the line of the Slovenian company, this type of cooker combines three types of appliances: induction, glass-ceramic and with cast-iron pancakes. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, but more on that later.

The combined stove is mainly represented by a combination of gasburners and electric oven. However, the K613E02 WKA series is the only one in this segment that combines two gas and two electric burners plus a multifunctional oven with heating elements and a fan.

Variety of electrical models

The Gorenje electric stove is presented in three versions. Outwardly, two of them cannot be distinguished: their hob is made of glass-ceramic, the difference is only in the heating element. In an induction appliance, heating is carried out using a magnetic field created by eddy currents. In the usual version of the glass-ceramic stove, cooking takes place thanks to the resistive heating element.

The simplest version of an electric stove is a device whose hob is made of metal with cast iron burners.

Features of electric stoves

Electric stoves "Gorenie" with a glass-ceramic surface or pancake burners do not differ much in terms of the functionality of ovens. However, there is a significant difference in them - this is the time to enter the operating mode after switching on. An appliance with cast iron pancakes heats up in about a minute and a half, while glass ceramic burners are ready to cook after 10 seconds.

The disadvantage of traditional stoves with metal burners is the failure of the spiral under cast-iron pancakes. On average, their service life is 3 years. Troubleshooting requires the replacement of this part. For electric stoves"Burning" its cost is from 1.5 thousand rubles plus the work of the master.

At the same time, the weakness of glass-ceramic models is their inability to withstand shock. If such a model is broken, then it would be more expedient to completely change the stove, since its restoration will cost the consumer 70% of the cost of a new kitchen appliance.

Induction heaters are easy to use due to fast heating, energy savings, but they also have their drawbacks. Their main disadvantage is the need to purchase special utensils for cooking.

Types of ovens

What is the chagrin of housewives when the energy expended on cooking your favorite dish in the oven becomes in vain due to a poor-quality household appliance. After all, the situation is familiar to everyone, that when baking a pie in Soviet gas ovens, it was necessary to rearrange the baking sheet so that the dessert would cook evenly. When progress stepped forward and electric heating devices appeared for cooking gastronomic delights in a closed space, many consumers immediately fell in love with such models. The Burning range with electric oven has also become a chef's favorite.

The fact is that in such designs a uniform distribution of heat is provided. Heating elements are located both from below and from above, and they work both together and separately.

Slovenian electric stoves are available with electric (classic) and multifunctional ovens. The latter have the setting of several modes of operation. In addition to the classic heating, there is the possibility of using the grill, convection, keep the temperature mode of freshly cooked food, pizza mode and steam cleaning.

General recommendations for electric models:

  1. The need to check that the mains voltage meets the requirements for connecting a new kitchen heater. This is an additional voltage of 220 or 380 volts.
  2. Installation of the plate is carried out by the master of the service organization, which indicates the date of installation in the "Warranty Card". From it begins the countdown of the days of warranty repairs, according to which, in certified centers, it is possible to replace broken parts for electric stoves that are covered by the contract.
  3. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Do not use the stove as a space heater.
  4. Before cooking for the first time, clean and wash the packaging materials.
  5. A separate section in the instructions for the stoves is dedicated to proper care. This is especially true for glass-ceramic surfaces.

Rules for saving the appearance of the plate

New product always pleases the eyewith its aesthetic appearance. In order for the shine and beauty of the glass-ceramic surface of the stove to remain for a long time, you should follow a few simple rules for care.

It is advisable to wipe the kitchen appliance with a damp sponge after each cooking. Do not use abrasive products or steel wool for cleaning. Stain removers, universal cleaners and household chemicals intended for the bathroom are not suitable for cleaning glass ceramics.

Some Gorenie electric stoves come with scrapers that are designed to remove baked-on food residues. This tool can be purchased separately. Light dirt can be cleaned with dishwashing gels or window sprays.

The surface of the burners should be cleaned after they have completely cooled down, the surface itself can also be wiped during cooking, since it does not heat up. In addition to special products for cleaning glass ceramics, there are also handicraft methods of care. For example, instead of a scraper, some consumers use a regular razor on a surface previously moistened with vegetable oil.

Embedded Models

Several years ago there was a trend towards embedded appliances. In this case, during the overhaul of the premises with the replacement of a furniture set, special devices are purchased. In the line of the Slovenian company, in addition to standard plates, there are also special surfaces that are mounted on the countertop. They are produced in five types. Advantages of built-in surfaces

Such models are not in vain in great demand because their advantages are obvious:

  1. Compact. The standard electric stove "Combustion" 60x60 can be replaced by a two-burner panel 30 x 51 cm.
  2. Clean. As a rule, gaps form between the stationary kitchen heater and the countertop, into which food crumbs inevitably fall. In the case of the built-in version, such troubles are excluded, since the panel is combined with the countertop and forms a continuous surface.
  3. Possibility of refusal of an oven. The Burning hob can be installed without an oven, which is another plus in oversized kitchens.
