This allows you to increase the power, and with it the carrying capacity of the device with the same or even less weight of the product.
- Mounting. This type of device is considered industrial. Electric mounting winches are used at construction and industrial facilities. Unlike the previously discussed devices, they are distinguished by a much greater carrying capacity, a mass that exceeds 600 kilograms, and power consumption, which is calculated in kilowatts. Also, such equipment is no longer suspended, as is the case with planetary and small-sized ones, but is installed.
- Traction. They are used as traction mechanisms during loading and unloading operations. Sometimes they are confused with mounting ones, but this is wrong, since the latter are designed to lift and lower the load, and this type of winch is to provide traction. For example, they are used to move crane trucks. Their main advantage is that, with equal traction force with mountingwinches they have a speed almost twice as high.
- Shunting. Electric winches of this type are similar to traction winches, but they are used to move railway tanks and wagons. Often they are used for similar tasks in other areas. The shunting electric winch is capable of moving 10-15 wagons with a load of about 950 tons.
